$1.99 a month,
per camera.
Free for the first 7 days. You pay per camera you connect. Your iPhone and Apple Watch are included.
What it costs
Each camera you connect is its own add-on on your Ring plan.
$1.99 per camera, plus sales tax.
You pay for the cameras you connect, not the ones you own. Ten Ring cameras at home and only two you want on your wrist is two add-ons. The rest cost nothing and stay untouched in your Ring account. Adding and removing cameras is how you change that count.
What's included
- Live video with sound from every connected Ring camera and doorbell, on iPhone and Apple Watch.
- Motion and doorbell alerts that open straight into live view, on your phone or your wrist.
- Recent events and their clips, a favorite camera, and watch face complications.
- Updates and new features as they ship.
- Support from the people who built it. Write in and you get a real answer, usually the same day.
What you also need
An active Ring Protect plan on your Ring account. That’s Ring’s own subscription, not ours, and it’s the part that lets Ring share your camera feeds with an app like ours. You also need an iPhone with iOS 17 or later, and an Apple Watch with watchOS 10 or later.
The free trial
Every camera starts with a 7-day free trial. At the end of it the add-on continues as a paid subscription unless you cancel first, and cancelling during the trial costs nothing.
A $1 charge during the trial isn’t a charge. It’s a temporary card authorization from Ring that drops off within a few days. Billing & refunds explains it.
How you're billed
The plan is managed through Ring as an add-on, charged to the card you already have on file there. You subscribe, change and cancel it in your Ring account rather than in the app.
Managing your subscription and how to cancel are both in the help center.
Where it's available
Video Watch Live is available in the United States for now. The add-on lives in the Ring Appstore, and Ring currently offers that store to US Ring accounts. As Ring opens it in more countries, Video Watch Live will be available there too.
Want your cameras on a TV too?
Our sister app Video Wall Live shows every Ring camera at once on Apple TV, Fire TV, Google TV and Roku, with the same Ring account. It’s a separate subscription, and priced the same way.
Try it for 7 days.
The trial starts in the Ring Appstore, where the add-on lives. Install the app on your iPhone and connect your Ring account.
